Easter Egg Art

Before the Easter break we spoke about why we get a holiday and how people celebrate Easter in different ways. We created Easter Egg art as some people celebrate Easter by giving Easter Eggs.

LI: WALT use patterns and pastel to create an Easter Egg
- Make the egg look oval
- Use patterns that stand out
- Make the pattern stand out (bold the lines)
- Use a ruler for straight lines
- Keep the pastel clean and don't smudge
- No chicken scratching

Here is what some look like. They are on display in our classroom and look great!

Tui Team Celebration

In Week 5 we presented at celebration. We presented our self portrait art. We made this interesting by playing a Kahoot game where teachers had to guess who the self portrait was.

Here are some photos if you missed it.
